Virginia Brooks completed a Bachelors degree in biomedical Science at the University of Canberra in 1999. Her major areas of study were human biology and sports studies. During her years of study she worked as a personal trainer, health and fitness advisor and sports Taekwondo coach. She also represented Australia in Taekwondo sparring 3 times. After personally experiencing numerous sports injuries she developed an interest in Physiotherapy.

In 2003 Virginia completed her Masters in Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland and conducted research in chronic low back pain. She worked in sports physiotherapy clinics in Byron Bay and The Sunshine Coast treating sports and spinal injuries, managing return-to-work programs for chronic back pain patients. During this time she developed an interest in Pilates for back pain and completed her Level 3 Pilates instructor certificate. She moved to Hong Kong to learn more about treating pelvic floor patients with Robin Kerr and has since studied pelvic floor physiotherapy at Curtin University. She now works full-time at both Jardine House and Wellington St clinics.
