Saul Yudelowitz
Osteopath Medicine
Sports Biomechanics - Lower Limb Specialist.

Over the past six years, osteopath Saul Yudelowitz has used his exceptional skill to design tailor-made rehabilitation programmes for individual patients, including those with sports injuries, chronic pain symtoms and postural issues, as well as children and the disabled. He has also helped countless professional sportspeople competing in major international tournaments, such as the English Premiership, the German Bundesliga, and the PGA, as well as consulting for professional sports associations such as the PGA, SARFU and AIF.

Saul's approach is based on treatment, and an active exercise methodology. He believes the body is designed to naturally balance its musculoskeletal system, and he helps his patients achieve this, so they can maintain their functionality into old age. He is well-versed in many different pain symtoms of any type, including:
Knee Injuries, post injury rehab , Lower back pain, Ankle injuries, Achilles tendon problems, Joint instability, Neck Pain , Hip Pain, Shoulder pain, Pre & Post Operative Rehabilitation, Postural Correction, Treatment of Whiplash, Pre & Post Pregnancy, Headache, Biomechanical Analysis, Management of complex sport injuries, Neuromuscular re-training, Motor Control development, Strength & Power Development, Gastrointestinal health, Hormonal health, RSI, Sports performance and more...

Using many of the diagnostic procedures applied in conventional medicine, Saul has been trained to restore optimal function to the body, using a highly developed sense of touch (known as palpation) to identify its points of weakness. Osteopathy is based on the principle the body has the ability to heal itself, without the use of drugs. Using mobilizing and manipulative techniques, it focuses on strengthening the musculoskeletal system to treat and/or prevent conditions such as back and neck pain, postural problems, sporting injuries, muscle and joint deterioration, restricted mobility, occupational ill-health and many more.

What treatment does an Osteopath cover?

Osteopaths are trained to examine areas of the body using a highly-developed sense of touch, known as palpation, to determine conditions and identify the body's points of weakness or excessive strain. Osteopathy is a 'package' of care that includes skilled mobilising and manipulative techniques, reinforced by guidance on diet, stretching and exercise.

The osteopath will discuss with you the most appropriate treatment plan, estimating the likely number of sessions needed to treat your condition effectively. Osteopaths are skilled in diagnostic techniques and trained to identify when a patient needs to be referred to a GP.

Pain symptoms such as: foot, knee, lower back, spine, disc, hip, shoulder, neck pain, arthritic joints, sport injuries, RSI, postural correction, pre and post operation rehabilitation and muscle and ligament strains are treated by an Osteopath as well as many others sport injuries.

Many private health insurance policies provide cover for osteopathic treatment. It may be possible to claim for a course of treatment but you should check in advance with your insurance company before seeking osteopathic treatment.
