Robin Kerr graduated as a physiotherapist from Sydney University in 1985.She has worked internationally with leading sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons and therapists. Her first private practice was with the Australian Armed Forces managing the militaries combat squadrons and athletes. During this time she became interested in lumbo-pelvic mechanics. As this interest matured her patient load shifted heavily to track and field athletes, leg injuries and low back pain. She has extensive postgraduate training in these areas. In the early 1990’s she gained Olympic Committee accreditation in sports medicine and was involved with several international sporting teams. In 1996 Robin arrived in Hong Kong. Over the last decade she has developed an interest in the management of incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse and returned to Melbourne University in 2000 to gain post- graduate qualifications in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Robin is fascinated by Japanese martial arts and works with internationally known screen martial artists. She is passionate about Imogen, Mike, ethical food practices, horses and the breeding of Large Black Pigs.
Robin has now returned to farming on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. She maintains contact with our clinic and will be intermittently available for consultation when visiting Hong Kong.
