Doug Tahirali
BSc. Physiotherapy (Queens) Canada
MHKPA
Registered Physiotherapist

Doug Tahirali is a Canadian-trained physiotherapist who graduated in 1988 from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Due to extensive extra-curricular hands-on training in university, Doug was recruited directly from school to open and operate a private practice in Ottawa, Canada's capital. During these early clinical years he continued his education with extensive post-graduate courses and numerous hours assisting in operating theatres.

Dougs' interest in physiotherapy stemmed from his many sports injuries and he continues to be one of his own best/worst clients! This love of sport has kept Doug involved as a physiotherapist (and often as a competitor) in many local, national and international sports competitions. 10 years with the Canadian Ski Patrol also helped consolidate all the acquired knowledge.

With the dawning of the new millennium, life priorities changed and Doug spent 2000-2004 on an amazing sabbatical traveling through Africa, North America and Asia. Much of the time was spent observing indigenous healers and taking part in various local healing rites and ceremonies. While traveling Asia life priorities changed again which resulted in Asia becoming home, and a year later Kaia was born and parenting became an incredible new challenge in Doug's on-going adventure!

Doug will remain at Jardine House serving clients with all types of ailments.
