BHSc (NZ.Physiotherapy) Registered PhysiotherapistChris is a New Zealand trained Physiotherapist who initially started working in a sports injury clinic in Auckland before heading over to the United Kingdom in 2008. He has worked closely with Rugby teams over the years and recently worked with the Black Ferns (NZ Women’s Rugby Team) at their successful Rugby World Cup campaign in England 2010.Chris was the physiotherapist for the Hong Kong Gaelic football team where they were victorious in Seoul at the Asian Games 2011, and he was one of the tournament Physiotherapists at the International Cricket Sixes tournament held in Hong Kong in 2011. Chris is a keen and active sportsman and likes to combine manual therapy techniques with an exercise/functional based rehabilitation approach to get his patients back participating in activities of daily living, and back on the field. He is also a trained acupuncturist and incorporates a Western style needling approach with traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture techniques. |
